INITIAL CONSULTATION - $150.00
The initial consultation is done on location at the project site. This appointment is to meet with the homeowner(s) to evaluate the space to be designed and take measurements for budgeting and design purposes. We then discuss the “Wish List” for your project, as well as any preferred product(s) that you would like to use. Initial consultations are typically 1-2 hours, and are scheduled at your convenience. It is recommended that all of the “decision makers” are available for this meeting. At the end of the meeting we will present you with the estimated costs of moving your project to the next stage. The Initial Consultation fee is due upon arrival for the appointment.

KITCHEN DESIGN WITH CABINETRY & INSTALLATION - $10.00 / SQ. FT.
The Kitchen Design retainer is the next step in the process. Houston Kitchen & Bath charges $10.00 / sq. ft. for design services on a retainer basis. This process is for the homeowner that has decided Houston Kitchen & Bath is the best choice for them to supply the cabinetry and installation for their project. The design process will take into account all of the information that we have gathered at the initial consultation. We will make recommendations on materials for flooring, counters, cabinets, appliances, lighting, doors, etc. The drawings will remain the property of Houston Kitchen & Bath and will not be released, in any form (digital or hard copy) until a cabinetry contract is signed and deposit secured, with the design cost being credited as well.

KITCHEN DESIGN ONLY - $20.00 / SQ. FT.
The Kitchen Design Only is the second option in the design process. Houston Kitchen & Bath charges $20.00 /sq. ft. for design services. This process is the same as the retainer design process, with the exception of the fee. The Kitchen Design Only fee will be calculated while on the job site and is payable in two payments, the half due before any drawings are created or any further time is spent on the project, the second half upon completion of the design and prior to any drawings being released. This option is good for clients that are building out of state and may have sourced their own contractors and cabinetry supplier, or for the homeowner that wants to have a Professional Design, but are not sure of the products or suppliers to be used,or already have a cabinetry supplier and installer. Should you decide at the end of the process that you would like Houston Kitchen & Bath to supply products and services for your project, we will credit the amount of the design fee back to the construction contract.

BATHROOM DESIGN - QUOTED ON SITE PER PROJECT
Bathroom Design is available from Houston Kitchen & Bath also. Bathrooms come in a vast variety of sizes and shapes, which makes pricing a bit different. Master bathrooms are typically quite larger and contain many more features and items than a hall bath, guest bath or kids bathroom. Most master bath retainers are in the $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 range while smaller bathrooms range from $750.00 - $1,500.00. The bathroom design process will take into account all of the information that we have gathered at the initial consultation. We will make recommendations on materials for flooring, counters, cabinets, appliances, lighting, doors, etc. You may work also with your interior designer for the selection process. The drawings will remain the property of Houston Kitchen & Bath and will not be released, in any form (digital or hard copy) until a cabinetry contract is signed and deposit secured, with the design cost being credited as well.

HOURLY RATE - $75.00 / HOUR ($500.00 MINIMUM)
Hourly rates are available for $75.00 / hour. This pricing is available for all other types of projects ranging from utility rooms, mud rooms, libraries, wine rooms, fireplace built-ins, or any other are in your residence that you would like to have cabinetry in. We also offer the following professional design services; as built drawings, furniture and room layouts, space planning, and other special requests. MULTIPLE ROOM | WHOLE HOUSE PROJECTS
Multiple room projects or whole house designs will be quoted using a similar system to the above options and will be quoted in person after reviewing the project details and scope of work involved. Projects involving more than one space will be discounted based on the size and scope of the project.
